WeddingDressesLosAngeles.com’s Copyright Policies
WeddingDressesLosAngeles.com respects the rights of copyright holders and publishers and requires all users to confirm they own the copyright or have permission from the copyright holder to upload content. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable copyright laws and promptly remove content when properly notified.
Uploading videos, images, articles, or content that violate copyright laws can lead to the removal of your content and maybe even monetary damages if a copyright owner decides to take legal action. So copyright infringers can get sued. Repeated violations of copyright laws from specific accounts will be permanently terminated, and these users are permanently prohibited from using WeddingDressesLosAngeles.com.
We hope that you will help us protect the rights of artists and creators, and work with us to keep our community a creative, legal and positive experience for everyone.
Examples of copyrighted works
The most common reason we take down content for copyright infringement is that they are unauthorized copies of copyrighted content, and the owners of the copyrighted content have alerted us that their content is being used without their permission. Once we become aware of an unauthorized use, we will remove the content promptly. See http://www.copyright.gov/circs/circ01.pdf for more information about U.S. copyright law.
Some examples of potentially infringing content are:
- Images that belong to anyone other than yourself, i.e., from photographers, etc.
- Videos shot by anyone else but yourself or your company
- Articles written by anyone other than yourself or company
- Articles written in other websites, or information which can be found online
- Slide shows that include photos or images owned by somebody else

- Identify the type (e.g. a film, a piece of music, a book, etc.). and details of (e.g. title, publisher, dates, etc.) the copyright work which you own the rights in, and which you believe has been infringed. If this information is available on the internet, it is helpful to send us a link.
- Give us your contact information so that we can get in touch with you (email address is preferred).
- Give us the contact information which we can pass on to the submitter of the video concerned, so that they can get in touch with you to resolve your complaint directly (email address is preferred).
- Include the following statement: “I have a good faith belief that use of the copyrighted work described above is not authorized by the copyright owner (or by a third party who is legally entitled to do so on behalf of the copyright owner) and is not otherwise permitted by law.”
- Also add “I swear that the information contained in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or have an exclusive right in law to bring infringement proceedings with respect to its use.”

Make sure you know whether the content that you have seen on WeddingDressesLosAngeles.com infringes your copyright. If you are not sure what your rights are, or whether your copyright has been infringed, you should check with a legal adviser first. Be aware that there may be adverse legal consequences in your country if you make a false or bad faith allegation of copyright infringement by using this process, such as being counter-sued for perjury under the law. Don’t make false claims!
Please also note that the information provided in this legal notice may be forwarded to the person who provided the allegedly infringing content.
Claimant information will be published on the WeddingDressesLosAngeles.com site in place of disabled content.
Counter Notification
If you own ALL the necessary rights to your content (this includes, but is not limited to, audio, video, images, and text), but your content was removed, you may file for a Counter-notification.
If not, filing a counter-notification may not be appropriate for you. However, you may contact the content owner directly in search of a retraction of their claim. For instructions on how to request a retraction please go to the Retractions section down below.
International Counter-Notification
To file a counter-notification with us, you must provide a written communication that sets forth the items specified below.
Please understand that filing a counter-notification may lead to legal proceedings between you and the complaining party to determine ownership. Be aware that there may be adverse legal consequences in your country if you make a false or bad faith allegation by using this process.
Please also be advised that we enforce a policy that provides for the termination in appropriate circumstances of subscribers who are repeat infringers. So, if you are not sure whether certain material infringes the copyrights of others, we suggest that you first contact a lawyer.
Please note that your country of residence does not determine whether or not you may file an international counter-notification. The location of the original claimant, and whether or not it was submitted under United States law (governed by the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act, Section 512 g), determines which type of counter-notification you may file.
If you have questions about the originating locale of the complaint against your video, please email admin@WeddingDressesLosAngeles.com
An international counter-notification must include the following specific elements:
- Identification of the specific URLs of material that WeddingDressesLosAngeles.com has removed or to which WeddingDressesLosAngeles.com has disabled access.
- Your full name, address, telephone number, email address and the username of your WeddingDressesLosAngeles.com account.
- The statement “I will accept service of process from the person who provided WeddingDressesLosAngeles.com with the original copyright complaint or an authorized agent of such person.”
- The statement: “I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.”
- Signature. A scanned physical signature or a valid electronic signature will be accepted.
We can only accept a counter-notification directly from the user from whose account a video has been disabled. For verification, we require that counter-notifications be submitted from the email address associated with the account.
Our preferred method of counter-notification submission is via email.
After we receive your counter notification, we will forward it to the party who submitted the original claim of copyright infringement. Please note that when we forward the counter notification, it includes your personal information. By submitting a counter notification, you consent to having your information revealed in this way. We will not forward the counter notification to any party other than the original claimant.
We may then reinstate the material in question at our discretion
Retractions
After submitting a copyright infringement notification, copyright owners may realize that they misidentified content or they may otherwise change their mind. WeddingDressesLosAngeles.com is therefore always glad to honor retractions of copyright claims from the party who originally submitted them.
If you’re a content owner, please make sure you send us the following information if you wish to retract a claim:
- A statement of retraction (such as “I hereby retract my claim of copyright infringement”)
- The complete and specific URL of the content in question (this looks like http://www.WeddingDressesLosAngeles.com/XXXXXXXXX.html)
- An electronic signature (typing your full legal name will do)
Just email us to admin@WeddingDressesLosAngeles.com
Users may reach out to copyright owners directly in search of a retraction. Here’s how you may do so:
- If the claimant has a WeddingDressesLosAngeles.com account, the easiest way to contact him or her is through WeddingDressesLosAngeles.com’s private messaging feature.
- Please have the claimant contact us directly at admin@WeddingDressesLosAngeles.com with all the items listed above.
Please note that we will not process retractions that are not sent from the same alias that submitted the original claim.
Any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification may be subject to legal liability. Please also be advised that we enforce a policy that provides for the termination in appropriate circumstances of subscribers who are repeat infringers
